A fork of Rural Dictionary
A denizen who frequents the Web site Daily Kos, known for it left-wing activism and its irascible Webmaster Markos Moulitsas Zuniga. Kossacks deride conservative blogs as "hate sites" because of the frank and unapologetic assessment of Islam frequently expressed by commentators. Conservatives regard Kossacks as among the leading proponents of "leftist fascism," characterized by bullying, dirty tricks, illogical discussions, and an irrational hatred of everything to the right of Noam Chomsky. The name "Kossack" references the Cossacks, an old spelling of the ethnic group now known as Kazaks. When Russia absorbed Kazakstan into its empire, the Czar used Muslim Kazaks as a special cavalry due to their expert horsemanship and reputation for savage violence. Cossacks often were the perpetrators of horrific pogroms against Jews in Russian territory during the Czarist era.
Tax Payer #1 "Did you hear what those asshat Kossacks are up to again? They are so self-deluded with the idea that they are 'making a difference.'" Tax Payer #2 "Like I always say, 'don't drink the bong water.'"
Unwelcome, offensive, stupid or abusive commenter on a blog, chat room, user group or BBS. Common Internet slang dating back to the early days of the Web in the '90s and BBSs in the '80s.
>>>>>>> POST #1 (Patriot) "Socialism is a fatally flawed ideology that has utterly failed the people it purported to help." POST #2 (Troll) "Well of course it did to a racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe like you. You and the other Chimpy McBushhitlerites probably want to grind up the lazy ass poor people and turn them into dog food! My food doesn't have parents. Meat is murder! Likewise some workaholics are obscenely rich and it's not fair. The money that they have personally stolen from the Native Americans since 1492 should be taken away and given to the lazy ass poor people (so that they can become lazy ass middle class people). And what about WMDs and global warming? What about those, huh? MEAN PEOPLE SUCK so I hope you eat a lot of fast food and die of a heart attack! Fascist bastards!" POST #3 (Moderator) "In an effort to raise the collective I.Q. of this site, Troll, you are hereby BANNED! Now go take a bong hit to calm your apoplexy."
A fake troll, or false troll. Someone who posts an idiotic or inflammatory comment as a joke, not because they seriously believe what they are writing. A prankster who assumes the online persona of a troll. NOTE: It is important for the froll to be well known on the site in question, otherwise "the humorous impact is somewhat dissipated" when newbies think that the froll is a troll.
>>>>>>> Worker #1 "Did you check out the political blog last night?" Worker #2 "Sort of. I was bored with the same old strife and debate, so I decided to be a froll just for laughs. Making stuff up was actually more entertaining than the subjects under discussion."
Derisive name for Canada, reflecting its anti-American sentiment. Coined by Pat Buchanan on October 31, 2002.
In their quest for a worldwide Caliphate, Islamofascists are using Canuckistan as a staging area for future attacks on America. With friends like Canuckistan, who needs enemies?
Fraudulent photography. News images that have been faked by various means, generally to promote an ideological agenda or to manipulate the emotions of the viewer. (Derived from a combination of the French term faux meaning “false,” and “-tography,” the second half of the word “photography.”) The word was first used to describe the doctoring of photographs by Reuters photographer Adnan Hajj during the Lebanon War of 2006, and has since been generalized to mean any dishonest or faked news photo. Methods for creating “fauxtographs” include: using Photoshop (or similar software) to digitally alter the photo; photographing staged scenes or simulated news events and presenting them as real; interfering with or manipulating photo subjects to creat a “more effective” picture; adding inaccurate and/or misleading captions.
"Since (in their world view) the ends justify the means, terrorist leaders, and their willing accomplices in the moonstream media, have employed fauxtography to deceive tens of millions of illiterate Muslims into believing faked atrocities. Many educated Muslims have been duped as well."
