Pocket Ghetto

(n.) A small ghetto: A small area populated by poor and low income people prone to violence, drug use, and coolness.

Often exists within a patchwork of middle class and upper class communities. Indicated by the presence of hookers, drug addicts/tweakers, drug dealers, gang members, check cashin' places, pawn shops, or other shady people/locations.

(1) "Roll up the window, we're in a pocket ghetto."

(2) "We are? How do you know?"

(1) "First, I buy my weed here. Second, there's a Wafflehouse.
