A wrestling move used by hillbillies in which a wrestler begins to draw a circle in the air with his finger. Genereraly used as an act of desperation.
Announcer "Oh,this is embaressing - he's doing The Birdie"
Hillbilly wrestling move in which an opponent attempts to divert the other opponenet my drawing a circle in the air with his finger and saying "look at the birdie, look at the birdie."
Commentator " Oh, this is embarising, - he's using The Birdie"
