This word is short for situation and is used to describe an awkward, uncomfortable or intense moment.

"That guy was dancing awfully close to you - were you having a bit of a situ?" or "Stop it, you're embarrassing me, I'm having a situ here!"

Purpose

This is an alternate usage of the word purpose. It is often said by school pupils to describe something as being run of the mill or average.

Today was a purpose day at school. That lesson was purpose.
