diapered

Having diapers on. Actively wearing diapers. With diapers.

In each baby crib was a diapered baby. The caregivers changed the children in the bathroom before bedtime, and each child emerged diapered. I quickly diapered the babies before taking them out in the double stroller.

Diaper pail

Traditionally, a container, holder, unit, receptacle, or other, specifically designed to contain used cloth diapers, until such a time that the diapers can be dealt with. Traditional diaper pails are usually cylindrical in shape, white in colour, have a removable lid, and are made out of plastic. By design, diaper pails much resemble that of a standard kitchen garbage pail, and are an absolute must have item in any household where there are babies wearing cloth diapers.

The diaper pail in the baby's bedroom contained several days worth of wet and dirty cloth diapers, rubber pants, and baby wash cloths. After changing the baby, I opened the lid of the plastic diaper pail, and tossed the soiled diaper and rubber pants inside.

Diaper service

Traditionally, diaper service is a service that provides all of the laundering needs and care of baby cloth diapers used in ones home, for a weekly or monthly fee. Diaper service is a business that dedicates itself to picking up wet and soiled cloth diapers from surrounding households in it's service area, then once all of the diapers are picked up, the diapers are brought back to a commercial or private facility or setting, and laundered in accordance to strict diaper service guidelines, policies, rules, and regulations. Diaper service diapers are frequently tested for proper PH balance to help prevent diaper rash, and are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and 100% sanitized once serviced. Once the laundering and care process is complete, the freshly laundered diapers are folded, stacked, and delivered back to all of the households were the diapers originally came from, allowing the parents to reuse the diapers once again with confidence. Diaper service eliminates the need for all of the rinsing, dunking, swishing, soaking, washing, and drying so many of us associate with the use of reusable home-laundered baby cloth diapers. Diaper service, a service that provides busy mothers with an alternative to traditional home-laundered diaper washing and drying.

Mrs Smith carried the diaper pail out to the back porch of the house quickly, in preparation of the diaper service delivery truck stopping by.

spanking

Spanking, a household standard in many households where parents are raising young and growing children. The action of physically taking a child be it a baby, or a toddler, and paddling the child on the bottom with the inside flat of ones open hand. Spanking is done either on a clothed bottom, or a bare bottom, depending on the severity of ones child's actions, and the strictness of the parent administering the spanking. Spanking: The actions of a parent, a babysitter, or a caregiver, repetitively striking or paddling a child, baby, or toddler, on the bottom with their open hand.

"If I catch you doing that one more time (child's name), your going to get a spanking"! "Ok, you were told once already, and now I'm going to give you a spanking"! "Get inside right this minute! You know better than to do that! Your getting a spanking"!

diaper changing trolley

Nearly identical to a regular standard baby changing table, except a diaper changing trolley is equipped with casters so one can roll it around the house, or from room to room. Diaper changing trollies are often used in baby daycare centres, halfway houses, foster care homes, and institutional settings, where large numbers of children are in diapers. Diaper changing trollies are used to store all of the babies diaper changing needs, as well as a diaper pail. Diaper changing trollies were popular and widely used in the U.K. throughout the 1960's and 70's.

After supper I rolled the diaper changing trolley down the hall from baby room to baby room, to take care of all the children's diaper changes. Before starting the diaper changing, I double checked that the diaper changing trolley was well stocked with extra diapers, rubber pants, and a clean diaper pail.

diaper scald

Diaper scald, severe skin irritation and rash caused by the build-up of excessive heat inside a baby's diapers. Diaper scald, the formation of skin eruptions in the form of pimple like, and red rash like areas, on a baby's diaper covered bottom. Diaper scald, (diaper rash).

All of the children wearing diapers at the halfway house, were suffering from severe diaper scald. Mothers who use traditional cloth diapers on their children often forego the use of rubber pants during extremely hot, dry, or humid days, to avoid inevitable diaper scald.

Combination diapering

Combination diapering is the process of using both cloth and disposable diapers in ones home. A combination of the two types of diapers.

Mrs. Smith always opted for combination diapering with her children when they were babies. For the first several weeks after my children's birth, I chose combination diapering.
