A "trap" that can cause the player to die after completing a level, thereby forcing them to do it all over again. It's usually caused by flaws in design, although it can be intentional. Named for a level in Kaizo Mario World where the player must active a P-Switch before hitting the goal, or Mario will walk off into a pit of lava and die, negating the victory.
