Generally stands for "Wah Thia Bo" which mean "I don't understand the statement" in Hokkien.
Commonly used among Asian in messaging to express "I didn't get what you are trying to say, please rephrase"
WTB is used to save some typing effort.
In a messaging conversation sometime a person tend to said something hard to be understood, then you give a short response 'WTB' instead of typing out "I didn’t get it". Example a Facebook conversation bellow:
Example 1:
A: I do not find myself in the circumstances be possible to complete my homework by tomorrow
B: WTB
A: I don't think I can finish my homework by tomorrow
B: well do tell me if you need any help
Example 2:
A: What's your planning for today?
B: I decided to do a resection of useless sub-tissue group of human
A: WTB
B: Going to get a haircut
A: send me a selfie for me when you are done
