superpower

A country which wields such economic or military power, it can dominate any other. The USA and the USSR were two major superpowers until the collapse of the USSR. The USA is now the world's only superpower. However, China is quickly rising to become a superpower, especially with the recent launch into the space race, and the EU has the potential to develop into the world's most powerful superpower. Former superpowers include Britain, Spain, The Roman Empire and France. Nazi Germany and Japan were arguably superpowers during WWII.

The USA is now the world's only superpower.

Holodrum

The land that Link was sent to in the installment of the popular Legend of Zelda series, Oracle of Seasons.

Link fought his way back to Hyrule from Holodrum.

Zelda 64

Alternative name for The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, so called because it was released for the Nintendo 64, and was on a 64 bit cartridge. This game is generally believed by many game authorities to be the best game ever, in terms of innovation at the time.

I've just completed Zelda 64.

Zelda

(1) Abbreviated form of The Legend of Zelda games made by Nintendo. (2) Princess Zelda, character in The Legend of Zelda. She is the daughter of the ruling family of Hyrule, and also helps to protect her part of the Triforce, Wisdom.

(1) The new Zelda is more realistic than the Wind Waker (2) Princess Zelda has pointy ears and doesn't smile often.
