Dis-earned

When you do something that causes you to lose something that you had earned, you dis-earned it.

Mom: Molly I was going to get you a gift but not anymore after you were so sassy. You have dis-earned it!
Molly: That's not fair!

earn the flannel

Contrary to popular belief this has nothing to do with Canada or lumberjacks. Should be used when you're trying to compliment or insult someone.

I don't know what 'earn the flannel' means, but Jeff said that to me and I have mixed feelings about it.
