textphratic verse

A poetic description of a scene, photo, or painting laid out as a series of text messages, usually two. The term is a modification of Ekphrastic poetry, which is a poem about a work of art.

Man, that textphratic verse Henry slaps onto his photos is sure punchy, to the point, and yes poetic, all at the same time.

A relationship (typically used in roleplay or fanfiction) seperate from the main universe of the story.

"I love when Bella and Jacob have a verse relationship in fanfiction!"

A bible reference that one may use in a real-life situation to simplify a long-winded statement or decision by breaking it down in short form. (a.k.a simple chapter and verse).

Guy 1: You're going.
Guy 2: No I'm not.

Guy 1: Lemme break it down to you in simple chapter and verse, you're going!
