Low key basicaly means to keep it secret,out of sight, Hidden or quiet similar to" The down-low" typicaly said by people who imitate and try to be Hip Hop usualy based of modern day hip hop imatation artists. Essentially low-key imatations of imatations

1) To keep a secret. 2) To think about something you normal wouldn't think about unless someone there to point it out.

There's a lot of definitions of this word, but the way I use it is just another way to say to be honest.
