A fork of Rural Dictionary
My uncle got all bloodied at the wedding reception and fell into the the wedding cake!!!
Archaic swearword originating in England, originating from the even more archaic phrase 'By God's blood', but nobody really knows that or cares. DOESN'T mean 'fucking' you screwheads.. We use that word too!
"Bloody buggering hell!!"
- Rimmer from Red Dwarf
Why the hell is this 'example too short?' I swear, if this one doesn't work, I am going to track down those urbandictionary guys and use their spines as glockenspiels
very mild swearword used mainly in Uk but also very common (I am told) in Austrailia. Can be used before or in the middle of words/phrases to emphasize meaning - be it good, sarcastic or bad. It really does sound silly when americans say it - think about it, it's the equivalent to a brit saying 'mall' or 'nimrod' It's just not right. try saying some of these in an american accent for amusment (really no offence look at brit's saying sidewalk and math - equally amusing!).
fan-bloody-tastic (sarcasm)
bloody good idea (well done! good thinking)
Oh bloody hell (damn)
have a bloody good birthday (happy... or vaguely evil)
too bloody right (in agrement)
or my personal favourite 'abso-bloody-lutely' (yeah innit)
Essentially the British equivalent of "Goddamn".
What the bloody hell was that?!
Stand on the bloody cap, you wanker!
It’s a hoodie AND a blanket in ONE! It’s a bloodie good blanket and a hoodie good sweatshirt!
Person 1: omg! girl is that a bloodie
Person2:yasss sis I just bought it!
