Divi, Div, Divy A person who is not very smart or has just done a stupid thing
James walks down the street and walks into a lamp-post. His friends turn around to him and say 'James you divi.'
divy, divvy
The Cooperative Society in the North of England operated a scheme whereby each time a purchase was made in one of their stores, a small amount (a dividend, hence divy) was added to your account. At the end of the month, this would be used by the shopper towards future purchases
"Eh, I've spent so much at the Coop this month, I'll be able to get a telly with the divy"
It’s rare to come around a Divis but to sum it up, She cute or whatever! Also a little funny. (That’s being modest) she’s really funny. She’s sweet, honest, good vibes all around her... maybe a little sassy sometimes. If you’re not her friend yet you’ll definitely want to be!
You know that girl Divis?! She’s so cute and funny!
