seshing, then listening to large amounts of Radiohead while you kick it.
It was a small kickback, but it was trippy: Juliet put Kid A on the stereo and we all started Radioheading, and then we listened to Amnesiac.
What more can be said about this band?
Radiohead are truly brilliant and one of the most original bands out there today. Most Radiohead fans say their least favorite album is Amnesiac (2001) but I love all six of their CD's because each one has it's own unique style to it. Anyone who slightly likes Radiohead can't deny their awesome talent in The Bends, OK Computer and/or Kid A.
Never before have I heard such a diverse band with songs that could be described as Acid Jazz, Industrial, British rock, Classical depressant, etc.
Some people do not like Radiohead and it is completely understandable because it is not easy listening music. It isn't some pop song that everybody loves within the first 30 seconds of the song and then gets bored with it in a month. It's music that grows on you over time and eventually hits you with a permanent mark that leaves you in amazement.
(And to the Nirvana fan that hates Radiohead: You're clearly an idiot because I think Nirvana is fucking awesome. What's wrong with enjoying both? You are obviouisly closed minded to music and therefore your opinion doesn't matter.)
Radiohead is one of the greatest bands from the UK and is right up their with other revolutionary British bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc.
The favorite band of marvin, the paranoid android. The most intelligent, witty, political, sulking paranoid human beings with access to musical instruments. Musical equivalent to the global end-is-nigh movements, but with the seduction of beauty in it. Since 1997, radiohead renders all gothic movements as obsolete. Listening to good bands, like Coldplay or Franz Ferdinand is impossible after Radiohead. It's like eating soap after a good dose of chocolate. Like listening to a cheerful friend about landscapes after knowing the end of the world is nigh.
Unrecommended to all sane people that want to stay just so.
Radiohead is the favorite band of Lucifer. He specially likes the verses:
it's the devil's way now
you can scream you can shout
it's too late now
or
we hope you choke
we hope you choke
or
And either way you turn, Ill be there,
open up your skull, Ill be there,
climbing up the walls
or
we want young blood
Lucy Lucy just couldn't agree more.
A band which was founded in 1985, whom achieved mainstream success with their single "Creep". I wouldn't consider them pop rock or particuarly mainstream but my generation doesn't really listen to radiohead much. They focus on depression and other interesting aspects of life. They surprisingly can be relaxing. They're unique in their style. I'd put them with The Clash and Nirvana.
Person A "I just listened to some Radiohead, so relaxing"
Person B "Who the f*** are Radiohead"
Literally the best and most talented band ever to embrace the planet. Extremely underated ( yes under). Thom Yorke (lead singer) has the nicest voice you could ever hear, he is also an amazing songwriter and musician.
Its gonna be a glorious day. I think my luck will change. Pull me out of the aircrash. We are standing on the edge...
To go on a Radiohead listening jag, especially in winter.
Timmy can't come out to play because he's radioheading. He's been doing it for a week now!
