White Line Fever

An Australian term to describe the radical change in a person's behavior when they start playing sports, aka stepping over the 'white line'. The radical change can result in a normally mild mannered individual, becoming aggressive, loud and extremely competitive maybe even violent during gameplay, once the game is over they go back to their usual mild mannered self.

"Bruce isn't one to start a fight, but once the whistle's blown he gets white line fever and who knows what'll happen."

1)Fear of going to the doctor or dentist.
2)High blood pressure due to anxiety about surgery or dental work.

The dentist couldn't pull my wisdom teeth today because my blood pressure was too high. Could be due to White Coat Fever.

The occurrence when a typically a woman who is attracted to more than one gender dates lots of non-men for a period before getting an overwhelming crush on the most normal, if not mediocre, white man they can interact with. She will not interact with him more than twice daily and not less than once weekly giving her enough time to romanticize his blandness

Person 1: Have you seen Katie today?

Person 2: Naw, she's been hanging around the library all day because she caught mad White Boy Fever for the nerdy assistant dude
Person 1: But wasn't she just going out with Emily?
