A fork of Rural Dictionary
A Visayan (Filipino) word/coined term which was overused during 2020-2022 (Present) by many, mostly by filipinos, for its rather convenient usage in many grammatical conversations on the soc-med.
It implies a rather sociologocal meaning- rather than the actual -which was used as an adjective in almost every effing conversations on the internet.
Tho, literally- it means "devil" or "demon", it is also used as an everyday mood enhancer.
Examples:
•Yawa ka. (You're such a devil.) Normal
•Yawa ka! (You Devil!) Anger
•YAWAAA KAAAA! (YOU F@€K!NG DEVIL!) Anger lvl. 999
•Yawaaaa- (Damn-) killed in a certain pvp moba game
•HAHAHAHA yawa. (HAHAHA- *obvious?) Euphoria
If somebody close to you- or rather, a peer of yours- calls you yawa in a callous, repetitive manner; then he's/she's an assshole. Jk. It can imply something, that you're homies or something.
Tho, pls kindly not overuse the word. It's sort of cliche or something, and maybe you can summon the "yawa" itself if you're careless enough. HAHAHAHA sheesh.
"Yawa ka! Ba't mo'ko pinagpalit sa mas malapit? UwU 😭 *cries due to cringe*"
"OIIII, YAWAAAA! WAIT FOR MEEE! *ninja runs* *Kana-boon - Silhouette noises*"
"Yawaaa pud ni uy. Mga kolera ag mga kauban sa rank. Peace tea. 😤 *defeat noises*"
