Eita

Eita is a kid who is very skilled at soccer but has bad grades in other stuff. He loves soccer so he begs his parents for soccer shoes and ball but he is broke so he often scavenges in the trash can.

Brazilian interjection to show yourself surprised with something.
This lang used when something is surprisingly good or bad, but can be used in many different ways.

Can be simplified to "eta".
In the northeast of Brasil, people don't use "égua" (female horse) instead of "eita", they use "oxe" or "oxente".

"Eita porra!"
"Holy shit!"

"Eita carai!"
"What the fuck?!"
"Hey John, they mother died.
- Eita!"
