A word used to describe something quite small, or in a meaningless quantity.
"That makes me sad just a bit-bit."
"Britney Spears dog is called bit-bit. It therefore must be small."
A shorter way of saying that someone/something has "bit the dust", died, or no longer functioning.
Our television worked great for the last twenty-five years but last night it finally bit it.
1990's British term for, "See you then, bye", and is still in widespread use.
