Payed

Often used by people who have no grasp of the English language. The correct spelling is "Paid", which is of course the past tense of the word "Pay".

Payed. Billy was shattered to discover that he had been spelling the word "paid" incorrectly for so many years. Longing for the sweet release of death, he proceeded to swallow a razor blade to escape his shame.
