What's going on? Or What are we doing today?
Dick>>Yo Jane -- what's the haps on the craps? Jane>> Not a whole lotta - going to go to the mac-deez for some grub tonight.
A new, jazzier catchphrase to say when you encounter your friends. This phrase dates back to 36 BCE: Mark Antony yelled this to the Parthians after arriving with his calvary to Anatolia.
Group of people: *having a good time Jim: WHAT THE HAP IS FUCKENING! Group of people: Oh damn it
.. I had a friend in high school who would say this .. short for "What's happening?" .. saves one syllable and creates a noun .. actually it's use goes back to Shakespeare .. Hamlet at Ham IV.iii.70 "Howe'er my haps, my joys were ne'er begun."
Hey Man .. what's the haps?
Short for "What happened?" Can also use it as a greeting by saying "What's hap?"
"WTF? The file transfer was at 90 percent. What hap?"
