It's similar to yikes except you cant add the 's' because the situation is such a big yikes that you had to save a millisecond of time. It can also be used when you are too lazy to put an 's' at the end.

Big Yikes is like yikes only extra, often used as a exclamation of someone doing something wrong, or worthy of negative attention
Think about how you might use “Yikes!” or “No way!” and then double it as in: “Big yikes! Did you see what Jared just posted on his insta??”
