Pronounced "atting"

The act of placing unnecessary @ signs (a la Twitter) before people's names on non-Twitter social networking websites, blogs, etc. when responding to their comments.

Using the @ as an affectation.

"Yes, @Fred, I think that's a great idea. @Donna, what do you think?"

Dude . . . why are you @ing? Just use names!

Pretending to sing to a song that you really don't know the words to.

Inging is like repeating "WATERMELON WATERMELON WATERMELON WATERMELON WATERMELON" or other such words to make it look like you are singing various words in order to impress your friends.
