Refers to someone who has fallen in an embarrassing way. Usually accompanied by laughter.

1) "Wow, this kid got broke trying to jump down the stairs. What a bitch."

2) "He got broke trying to jump across that gap."

Usually used to refer to previously functioning machines which no longer work correctly.
