1: a lively Romanian folk dance that is very easy to learn. 2: a word used to describe any word used by your friends over and over for no particular reason other than that it is fun to say. 3: something people just won't shut up about. 4: any stupid memory/idea that resurfaces repeatedly for no reason. (positive connotation)

person#1: "josh just won't stop saying "pamplemousse" its driving me nuts!" person#2: "oh, thats just his girlfriends' favorite word these days.
