I can see where people would use this slang for any town whose name, begins with P, however we believe P-town to be Provincetown, Mass., on the tip of Cape Cod

Portsmouth, Virginia. Most ghetto city in Virginia but the one with the most pride. People arent ashamed to be from P-Town cause they are known for being tough. MISSY ELLIOT was born and raised in Portsmouth.

P-Town refers to Portland Oregon. Because its the biggest city in Oregon it is very popular and many people go there for shopping and such, so it is much easier to say P-Town then to say Portland.

p-town

short for Provincetown. a shore-side town on Cape Cod, known for its large, rather vibrant gay community, many interesting shops and galleries, ridiculously crowded streets in summer, and many quaint/quirky little cape-style houses. it's lots of fun, but more enjoyable off-season when the tourists aren't as numerous.

p-town is neat, i've got some friends there.
