A fork of Rural Dictionary
A way of describing the girl you really like, either to said girl or your friends, without hinting too much. Either used by shy men who have a hard time admitting they really like someone or describing the girl you like to your friend that proclaims himself the matchmaker or love finder (yes, this is a stereotyped friend that every bro has, you may even be this person - if so, you have learned the secret code of bro hinting (ha, and you only thought girls spoke in hint))
Stereotype matchmaker: "hey hey, I hear you and Alexa have a thing, wink wink, nudge nudge." Shy friend: "Haha, nice try. She is pretty funny tho"
Saying this with a straight face is a polite way of letting you know...its NOT funny. This occurs after sharing something seemingly funny as the listener responds with a straight face and no vocal inflection.
A: Next thing I know, the guy vomited all over the train, lucky none got on me, but the best part was his shirt... It read: "In my life, every day is a disaster..." B: That's funny (straight face).
instant mood killer + awkwardness
Joe: Hey, did you see that cheerleader who suffered from the side effects of the H1N1 vaccine? She was jerking all over the place, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the video haha Dave: That's not funny. Joe: ... Bill: soo, anyone want another beer...? I'm gonna... go get some beer.
1) To make a joke or say something that is indeed funny. 2) To take the piss if someone says something funny when they usually don't
"Wow, Bob just made a funny." "Oohh Bob. You made a funny. Well done. *Sarcastically dies*"
A little phrase to describe the hilarity of a joke/funny incident. Is usually used when re-telling the joke/incident, or while in fits of laughter
