Cockwomble - cock-wom-ble (noun) British for a foolish or obnoxious person. However, Cockwomble took on a whole new meaning in social media when defining an over zealous fan of Meghan Markle. (Meghan Markle, a North American actress who did much of her work on her back and in the front seat of cars, married Henry of Wales on 19 May, 2018) Cockwomble "Sugars" are often beyond the realm of delusional and obnoxious. They project Meghan Markle as a future Queen Consort, completely ignoring the line of succession. Cockwombles live in a world of make-believe and cosplay. It has been found that most of the Markle Cockwombles are uneducated persons who have no particular life beyond their social media accounts. The vast majority according to many poll rosters suggest that Cockwombles hail primarily from the United States.

Now a general word of abuse, but originally more especially for politicians. However, I'm fairly sure its first meaning was something rather more specific. "The Wombles" was a children's TV programme about little creatures who lived in Wimbledon Common and picked up trash. Also at one time Wimble Common was known as a place homosexual men would go in the evening in search of anonymous casual sex. There was a scandal once regarding a politician who was seen there one evening and who insisted he was, "Taking his dog for a walk". So a "cockwomble" was someone (especially a politician) whose interests include anonymous casual homosexual sex acts with strangers.
