Another thing made up by people to make themselves feel special and for attention.

Person 1: I'm aromantic Person 2: What's that? Person 1: It means I am not romantically attracted to them Person 2: You made that word up to make yourself feel special.

An umbrella term for all orientations that are related to having little to no romantic and/or sexual attraction, or that fall on either the aromantic and/or asexual spectrum(s). One need not to fall on both spectrums to be considered part of the aromantic/asexual spectrum. It is often abbreviated to aspec (or a-spec).

Person 1: I am demisexual. Person 2: Oh, cool, so you're on the aromantic/asexual spectrum! I'm demiromantic! Person 1: Nice, you're aspec too!
