Decided exclusively by a single condition or set of conditions, and nothing else.

Differs from "if and only if" by acknowledging the certainty or near-certainty of that condition.

Hand to Hand Wombat will end when and only when one team scores 3 points. It does *not* end if all members of the Bad Team are voted out.
