When you are crushing hard on someone who just gives you enough of their attention to keep it up.
No one but him is gonna calm this mood down.
When your parents are super mad at you for doing/saying something, but they don't yell. Instead they use that really stern voice, and you can tell they are holding back every fiber of their being from killing you.
"i got back home 30 mins after my curfew. My dad confronted me in the living room, but luckily, he gave me the calm treatment."
(n.) The time during a woman's first pregnancy during which nobody talks about the baby or being pregnant for maybe 2 seconds. This calm, almost eerie silence, usually occurring early in the 3rd trimester, is soon shattered by childbirth and the spirit-crushing, torrential shit storm that follows.
