1. Any person into alternative/rock/metal music, a purgorative term designed for alienation of the other by scally/chav culture. 2. Reclaimed from the above, a name given to a muscially orientated sub-culture. Said culture being a mix of earlier Punk and Metal culture. The term originated with the culture following the collapse of nu metal from aminstream popularity in favour of metalcore, pop metal, punk pop and emo. 3. Reclaimed purgorative from the older underground sub-cultures, such as metallers, goths and punks. Terms those who claim identify with their sub-culture, but who have seemingly missed the point and do not listen to music deemed to be authentic, ans generally considered unable to mosh properly.

Moshers are just really cool people who are slightly nutty and love to have fun. they don't care how stupid they act as long as their having fun. they like to wear baggy clothes and tops, and keep themselves covered up with not to much flesh on show, unlike tarty townies. they also dont brag about which guy they had last night or spread rumors of how bad their last boyfriend was in bed. they are really cool people who express their emotions through clothes and music

not a goth, but also not a townie. usualy someone who enjoys rock or punk, butdoesn't feel the need to be "labled". sadly, when the scalys came into being, they proceded to name anyone vaguely individual that listnes to anything that isn't "bangin chowns" a "mosher" thus defeating the inviduals attemp for individuality.

THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE FRICKIN WORLD!! ''Moshers'' are very nice people.. they like to wear black and/or brightly coloured clothes! They are usually found hanging around on parks/street corners..they keep themselves to themselves and rarely get into fights but sometimes the worst comes to worst and they do retaliate..usually toward the actions of chavs. Moshers Hate Chavs. But they usually do there upmost to try and avoid these physical contacts.The music they listen to is different nd most people dont like it but it generally is good music..metal, thrash, rock are the usual types of music they like to listen to.Moshers are Mainly Found wearing baggy clothes and wearing wristbands sometimes with badges pinned to them. They do not feel the need to ''Fit in'' to the general crowd. They are there own people and proud of it.

A person who dresses in black/brightly coloured clothes, usually quite depressed but has a good time with friends, is very random and listens to any type of rock music. Often found sitting around with friends laughing, joking, playing spin the bottle, and sometimes with alcohol. Probably has a bag with many badges on declaring their favourite bands or with slogans such as "Fuck You" or "I'm here around the blow job". Generally nice people.
