A fork of Rural Dictionary
A word used usually in response to a variety of things, including bad puns, jokes, ideas, phrases, etc. It's usually given with "the stare." It can sometimes be emphasized by stressing the middle vowel (ie woooonk, where the "o" is pronounced the same way as the first "o" in "octopus"). It can be modified to different forms of the word like: wonky, wonked, wonking, wonkified, or adding adverbs in front like "very wonky."
1. "Quick! Catch your nose!"

To describe something that isn't quite right, slightly off or not working properly
That picture is on the wonk/ the minigun is on the wonk/ my brains are on the wonk. Originates from darkest, most remote parts of Suffolk (u.k) where everyone and everything is said to be'on the wonk'.And with very good reason.
The act of making a very disturbing face. Similar to winking, but much more awkward.
