It can sometimes be emphasized by stressing the middle vowel (ie woooonk, where the "o" is pronounced the same way as the first "o" in "octopus"). It can be modified to different forms of the word like: wonky, wonked, wonking, wonkified, or adding adverbs in front like "very wonky."
