Used in Carpinteria , CA circa late 80's/early 90's. Possibly still in use. Meaning something is lame, or boring. Probably from an insult to something being virginal, or not rebellious. Can be dragged out in a stoned stupor as "puaaarr".
"Dude, that movie was pure". Dude #1:"This weed is bunk". Dude #2 "Puuuaaarrr"!
Pure is a lifestyle. To be pure, one must achieve ones own goals previously set for themselves. Have all the qualities that people want in a good friend/lover. Dress how they dress. Take's L's but learns from them (haha) Pure may also be used as an adjective or stand alone as an adverb.
