Heinz 57

Heinz 57 is a shortened form of a historical advertising slogan "57 Varieties of Pickles" by the H. J. Heinz Company located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It has come to mean anything that is made from a large number of parts or origins.

I love my dog, but he's a real Heinz 57.

Hienz 57

Hienz 57 is a slang word (not actually a slur) for someone who is of many different ethnic groups.

Me I am part Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Irish and Japanese. Or Tiger Woods who is every race White, Black, Asian, and American Indian. We would both be called Hienz 57.

passenger 57

a term used to describe a gambler's last, futile attempt to come up at a casino or gambling parlor by placing all his remaining chips on the roulette table and betting on black. the term is a reference to the Wesley Snipes vehicle "Passenger 57" wherein Mr. Snipes admonishes terrorist Charles Rane to always bet on black should he ever find himself playing roulette.

After three crushingly cold shoes of blackjack, Brian reluctantly decided to pull a passenger 57 with his last two hundred dollars.
