Quite a large amount is pretty self explanatory it is used when you have a large amount of things typically forks. Some people don’t have quite a large amount of forks so you must be considerate of their feelings and make sure you do not brag about your quite a large amount.

Person 1: How many forks do you have? Person 2: Quite a large amount.
