“Flingers” is a term for married couples who partake in intermittent, part-time, sexual “swinger” activities and encounters. The term is a combination of “swinging” (married couples sharing sexual encountered with others outside their marriage) and “flings” (brief, meaningless, NSA sexual encounters). Whereas “swinging” is considered a lifestyle, “flinging” is more of a shared, naughty hobby of periodic trysts with others.
