(noun)(uk specific) Terestrial television channels, such as BBC 1 2, ITV, Channel Four and Channel Five. Refers to how old and obsolete the technology seems compared to Digital and Cable.

"Are you coming downstairs to watch the match on Sky?" "Nah, it's only on gas telly I'll just stay here."
