corporate apology

An apology so bland that it makes you want to throw up. Almost always given by multi million dollar conglomerates, hence the name.

Conglomerate: We would like to apologise for our actions. (insert corporate apology here)

Corporate Dirtbag

A 9-5 office employee that’s a heavy weed smoker and can still deliver their projects on time. They can go out on the weekdays and will function pretty well at work the next day. They’ll do shit like work from home but really they’re just checking outlook and teams while on the road somewhere. Or they might be gaming and occasionally asking their boss a random question. Pretty fun person to work with though.

I’m not sure why I tried so hard in college. The people that didn’t try as hard ended up in the same place as I am. It’s my turn to chill. I’m in my corporate dirtbag era.

Corporations after June 30th

A term used to reference how the minute after Pride Month ends, a majority of corporations and other companies who were pretending to be supportive immediately go back to pretending LGBTQ+ people aren't a thing.

Dang, I thought Target would have changed and kept on selling Pride-themed stuff after June, but it looks like its all gone. Well that's just Corporations after June 30th, innit?

A combination of branding and bland. Used to indicate corporate homogenization. Can also apply to corporate interference in the arts, as in the case of Starbucks forming a music label

Corporation

A corporation isn't a democracy, because there is a hierarchy. As long as a hierarchy exists, everyone doesn't make the same money at work, everyone doesn't have the same power, because a hierarchy will not allow for that to happen. How much of a boost for people's morale is it really to know that there is a hierarchy and if some people are not in control of it, they want to discard the old one and start a new, fresh one. (not to really bring justice and equality to all, that's been the lie that many have used to rise to power while the world is still as fucked up and unjust as it ever was today, but to benefit from their claims of things that sound good to the masses)

A corporation is not much of a democracy, though it's said to be and supposed to be, in actuality it's closer to a feudal system where the people that feed the masses don't really have to give a fuck about them.
