'Transition police' is used to describe people who gate-keep other people's transitions from one sexual orientation to another. The LGBT community favors access, and inclusion, and is not a restrictive community. It supports liberation. Transition police often try to restrict access, and decide whether other people can belong to the sexual identity that they have chosen for themselves.

Andrew: Well, you can't just say that because you had a great time Provo-Soaking with Ozi...
Megan: Quit being transition police!
Andrew: Oops! My bad.

Outsiders who join a fandom/hobby with the sole purpose of policing the behavior of fans in said fandom/hobby and not because they enjoy the hobby themselves. They can commonly be seen trying to shame people for engaging in things that are normal for the fandom and aren't even offensive and harmful, in order to make them "normal" according to their standards. They often engage in brigading to bully people to be more "normal" according to their standards. They like to ragebait fans on purpose and play the victim when the fans get angry or call the fancops out for their behavior. They also like to attack the pre-existing fans by belittling them for their hobby. They also always appeal to triviality.
