A party that happens after the clubs/bars close down. It's usually an informal gathering of like-minded people at a friends house or apartment.
scene- 1:42AM crowded night club Jake: Hey man have you heard of anything going on after this? Chris: Yeah there's supposed to be this kick ass afterhours at Christie and Jack's place.
(The) Y Afterhours is the busiest after-hours night club in AB, Canada housing three floors and four rooms, with different resident DJ's each Friday/Saturday night.
JP @ 2am: Hey man, what are the plans after this? Dave: We're going to the Y Afterhours, you down? John @ 2am: Hey man, what are the plans after this? Dave: We're going to hit up The Y, you down?
