A fork of Rural Dictionary
A term Literally meaning "Red Haired" in the Hokkien Dialect of Chinese. Colloquially used in reference to any person of western descent. In other words; white people. Often used in Singapore, the term is not considered a term of endearment, but is not considered rude either.
"Hey, that Chinaman just called me an Ang Mo! Can't his slanty eyes see that I'm a brunette?"
Amk is really small, it has no lift, not even one. Classes that have students who have injured legs need to switch classroom with the class located at first floor. Ang Mo Kio’s Teachers are pretty ok but it’s the students that is mean. A lot of xmms who love doing TikTok in class and xdds who think they swag (ew) CCAs such as the volleyball are filled with “pop” girls who does not have enough money to afford a pants that covers their butt. Some of them are really bitchy, they walk around in groups with their rbf (they’re judgmental) There are also groups of boys who think that they are really cool but lame asf, smoke and hang out in gangs and forever cursing . Amk sec used to have a lot of influencers in the school but they graduated hahahaha. In conclusion, amk Teachers are nice not the students

Ang mo (alternate spelling is ang moh) is a term used to refer to Caucasians. Literally means "red hair" in Hokkien. It is commonly used in countries like Malaysia and Singapore, and is sometimes used in Taiwan and Thailand.
More versions include "ang mo lang" (Red-haired people), "ang mo sai" (Red-haired shit), used to insult Chinese people who cannot speak Mandarin or write the Chinese script, and "ang mo kow" (Red-haired monkey), which is considered very rude.
Wah, you got see that ang mo just now ah? Why they come here one? I thought their country more nice?
