The moment in time when you put a car between it's 4th and 5th gears, in order to gain access to the "Blueshift Dimension". Term coined by James Willems

The opposite of redshift. Usually to do with electomagnetic waves, such as light. Blueshift is the shortening of the wavelengths.

Will be a result of the sorce moving closer to the receptor or the other way around.

the displacement of the spectrum to shorter wavelengths in the light coming from distant celestial objects moving toward the observer.

The astronomers observed a blueshift in the light emitted by the distant galaxy, indicating that it was moving towards our own Milky Way.
