a letter that alexander hamilton wrote to john laurens in april 1779. the ultimate lams letter (laurens x hamilton) hamilton’s son later found this letter and had to censor parts of it because it was so inappropriate
person 1: omg lams is so cute person 2: have you seen The Letter? person 1: what no? person 2: hamilton wrote a letter to laurens and its like the ultimate lams proof person 1: what does it say? person 2: “cold in my professions, warm in my friendships, i wish, my dear laurens, that it may be possible, through action rather than words, to convince you that i love you.” and then later it says “you should not have taken advantage of my sensibilities to steal into my affections without my consent.” person 1: omg so they actually did love each other? person 2: yup.
