An expression of awkwardness and lack of something to say, esp. after someone says something weird.
Person 1: Hey man! I'm a prostitute now!
Person 2: ermm...
Typically used as a delay, to indicate to awkwardness or uncertainty
Can also be used to signal adversity to an idea.
Is sometimes followed by some Rimants logic.
Person 1: "Hey Rimants, how do cars move?"
Rimants: "Ermm... I don't know"
Person 2: "Rimants? When are you going to clean your room?"
Rimants: "Ermm... Later"
Ermm What the Sigma? - a phrase often used when he/she/they/them/it/its is flabbergasted and confused.
