Some people say these bracelets mean everything people say they mean and other people say they're mearly fashionable. Me, on the other hand, i think both ways. I started wearing them as a fashion but my boyfriend (and only my boyfriend) started breaking them off. I still wear them as a fashion. Where we live in So. Calif the kids trade these jelly bracelets for "favors". That way you can get twenty kisses out of one bracelet. My son finds them in his locker and girls send them in the mail too.

Black was the original jelly color of the 80s, when jellies originated. Many Goths and Punks still wear them. Lately just because some teens labeled them, does not orinally make them what they seem. They are now seen as sex accessories, the fad will pass. Teenyboppers once again picked up on counterculture fashion. Ohh great!
