Rock 'n' roll

Originally a black slang term for fornication with vigour (sex). The term was adopted by early rock n' roll DJs (mostly white) who used it to describe the hybrid R&B/Country we have all come to know and drink beer to. The term also probably contributed to the parental angst of the 1950's adding to the "evil" reputation of those "nasty rock n' rollers".

That woman wore me out... All she wanted to do was rock and roll all night long!

Rock 'n' roll

A deceased genre of music; it has been replaced by a lesser, weaker form called 'rock' . A genre of music that actually involves talent in which singers, with an actual vocal range, with actual musicians , who actually know their instruments, actually play technically-important music that can't be done by 5 minutes of Fruity Loops, Acid Pro, or some other home-crapshop recorder.

Rock 'n' roll

An awesome genre of music that many believe died after the 80s. I say that new rock is good but it was best in the 90s with Rage Against The Machine, Green Day, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Offspring, and Metallica.

Do I really need to add an example.
