A story told by your lady friend, it usually involves her bad judgement and lack of initiative. She usually tells you the story a couple times, before acknowledging that she already told you the story. The S in Scarlett is meant to signifiy Shame, as she is shameful of her plight.
Did nancy tell you her Scarlett Letter, I was over it as soon as she started. Yeah dude, not sure what was going on there, she told me it like three times before she got a hold of herself. What a debacle!
