A much more intense way of the popular 'Hell Yeah' phrase.

'Dude, that was awesome!'
'Shit yeah!'

the best possible way affirmative response

"Do you want to come over for chicken and dumplings?"

"Shit yeah, I do."

1) a very enthusiastic way of agreeing.
2) exclaiming that you have forgotten something

person 1 "dude, are you pumped?"
person 2 "SHIT YEAH!"

or

person 1 "we need *extra item here*"
person 2 "shit yeah ! i'll get that!"

When you forget to do something or go somewhere because your high, then you asked to do something.

Guy 1: lets go somewhere
Guy 2: im too high dude, but ok

An hour and two biffs later...

Guy 1: come on, are we going then?
Guy 2: shit, yeah man, lets go

The opposite of "no shit". Used to express acknowledgement of the not-so obvious.

note: Unlike its satanic opposite "no shit", this is not meant to be sarcastic in any way.

synonyms: "really?", "hmm, I didnt know that".

example 1:

Person 1: "I went to the dentist today"
Person 2: "Yeah shit"

Opposite of no shit. Used when someone says something that wasn't obvious.

"My dog weighs 54 pounds"
"Yeah shit"
The person could have also said "really? i didn't know that" but this is where yeah shit comes into play.

Exclamation for when something is just too cool for any other phrase.

"I just got us tickets to the ... show."

"Shit the Fuck Yeah!"
