To snail about is to wander with no purpose. Commonly walked slowly. It might be used as another term for lollygagging
Fulan on the phone: Hey Illan what are you doing?
Illan: Oh I'm just snailing about
When somebody says something that doesn't make sense/is illogical, they are talking about snails.
"You think the Earth is flat? You're talking about snails"
