Also a Japanese auto maker that produces good quality vehicles that have all-wheel drive and sound reliability verdicts. Often recommended by Consumer Reports and the Car Talk guys. Subaru could use a little help in the exterior styling department, but they are looking better every year. The Legacy/Outback line in particular is good looking and performs nicely. Subaru is known for rally performance and catering to the tastes of REAL outdoorspeople with Outback and Forester.
